Larry Kaufman New Yankee Alliance President and CEO

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – January 5, 2021, Andover, MA, –  Larry Kaufman, FACHE,  will join Yankee Alliance as its President and Chief Executive Officer on February 1, 2021.

Larry replaces outgoing President and CEO, Cathy Spinney, who announced her retirement this past summer. With a demonstrated history of creating patient-focused cultures for serving health systems, Larry is uniquely qualified to lead Yankee Alliance.

Larry most recently served as President and CEO of Trivergent Health Alliance MSO. Previously, Larry held various hospital administration and group purchasing organization leadership positions. He brings over 35 years of experience to Yankee Alliance and recognized expertise in the areas of labor and non-labor cost reduction, physician clinical integration, and the development of strategic initiatives, both operational and clinical, to reduce variation, cost and improve quality.

Larry earned a Master’s of Health Administration from Indiana University – Purdue University at Indianapolis and a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Notre Dame.

Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Executive Officer of Southcoast Health System, Keith Hovan, said, “The Board and I are confident that Larry is the right person to build on Yankee Alliance’s strong record of success. He has the experience necessary to maximize Yankee Alliance member savings, growth, retention and profitability well into the future.”
