Yankee Alliance names award recipients for 2017 Top Performers at 31st Annual Meeting and Reunion

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – May 25, 2018; Andover, MA, - Yankee Alliance held its 31st Annual Meeting and Reunion on May 15-17 at Manchester, Vermont’s Equinox Resort & Spa.  This year’s event was attended by a large number of member hospitals, industry leaders and supplier business partners.  The meeting serves as an opportunity to bring member hospitals together to learn about healthcare trends and best practices, attend educational sessions and committee workshops, and connect with each other and supplier business partners. 

The event also features a special awards ceremony.  Yankee Alliance recognizes top performing members for their exceptional achievements and commitment in reducing supply chain costs, performance excellence through leadership, and engagement with other members.

 
This year’s awards were presented to:


The Savings Award recognizes the acute care facility with the greatest overall savings per adjusted patient day.


Winner, under 100 beds:  South County Health

Winner, 100-300 beds:   New England Baptist Hospital

Winner, over 300 beds:  Covenant Health

 
SUPPLY view ™ Participation Award recognizes the facility that has implemented the highest percentage of savings identified through the SUPPLY view ™ analytics program. 


Winner:  Baystate Health


Participation Award recognizes the acute care facility with the highest utilization of Yankee Alliance programs and services.

 
Winner:  Lahey Health


Pharmacy Utilization Implementation Award recognizes the facility with the highest percentage of savings through the Medication Evaluation Program.

 
Winner:  Ellis Medicine

 
Ethan “Jethro” Stansbury Memorial Award recognizes the member who best displays the spirit of Yankee Alliance - working together with Yankee colleagues, sharing information and best practices for the greater good while attaining maximum value for their institution.


Winner:  Stephanie Pasquarelli, RN, MSN, Berkshire Health Systems

 

Marit Davies Memorial Award recognizes the member who has exhibited innovative thinking, a passion for implementation, and leadership in the pursuit of healthcare supply chain excellence.

 
Winner: Christopher Johnson, Wellforce
