Through our insightful analytic services, Yankee Alliance worked with a healthcare member to uncover savings on Orthopedic Total Joints.
The Results To evaluate existing and future savings opportunities our member meets monthly with their Yankee Alliance Account Manager. This meeting opened up the opportunity for our member to request an ECRI Benchmark Report on Orthopedic Total Joints.
By using the findings of the Benchmark Report, the member’s healthcare Supplychain and Value Analysis teams worked closely with Yankee Alliance, ECRI, Premier, and MDB to renegotiate pricing on Orthopedic Total Joints directly with their local suppliers. As a result of the savings opportunity revealed through the report, our member was able to achieve a total savings of $725,000 on Orthopedic Total Joints.
