Rick is the Senior Vice President, Member Services at Yankee Alliance. His 25(+) years of experience managing healthcare operations, improvements and business development have prepared him well to assist Yankee Alliance members to improve their operations.

Rick joined Yankee following two years as Vice President of Service Integration at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA. He directed major construction projects, led business development efforts and conducted benchmarking and process redesign for this 224-bed community hospital.

Prior to working in Melrose, Rick served as Vice President of Operations at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, MA and served seven years at The Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI as Vice President of Administration and Clinical Services.

A native of Massachusetts, Rick graduated in 1971 from the University of Maine in Orono with a BS in Bacteriology. He earned an MBA from Suffolk University in Boston in 1976 and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Standing in Health Care Management in 1979 from Northeastern University in Boston.
