Digirad Corporation Announces New Partnership with Yankee Alliance

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – December 22, 2015, SUWANEE, GA. —  Digirad Corporation (“Digirad”) (NASDAQ:DRAD), the leader in providing healthcare solutions on an as needed, when needed and where needed basis, today announced that it has entered into a supply chain agreement with Yankee Alliance.

Yankee Alliance is a group purchasing organization with a mission to work with members to reduce supply and operating expenses through aggregation of data, purchasing, ideas and knowledge.   Their membership exceeds 12,000 and includes a full continuum of healthcare providers, acute and non-acute care facilities, imaging centers, physician practices, and more.

The agreement includes offerings from both of Digirad’s operating divisions.  Digirad’s Diagnostic Imaging division will sell its portfolio of Nuclear Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine imaging systems, with preferred pricing and benefits to Yankee Alliance Members for Digirad’s Cardius® 2XPO, Cardius® 2M XPO, Cardius® 3XPO, Cardius® X-ACT and Ergo™ Imaging Systems.  Digirad’s Diagnostic Services division will market its proprietary mobile Nuclear Cardiology services to Yankee Alliance members.
